    I get about 6000 steps a day as part of my job, but that's over the course of 8 hours. Are walking "sessions"/duration more important than total daily steps?

  4. for us that live in the Northeast (that means several moths of snow fall) and walking outside is not always ideal. Plus we have to add having to work in front of the computer all day. Do you recommend a treadmill desk if you have the means to acquire it?

  5. Jason, how many minutes a day do you typically walk like you're walking here (with purpose)? I've been walking about 45-60 minutes a day but sometimes wonder if that's too much as I'm always walking pretty fast (not breathing heavy but i can feel it in my legs).

  8. Started walking one month ago as a replacement for spin class. My legs are getting firmer and I feel better. It is not the short high you get in spin but an all day thing. I am trying to get up and away from the desk every hour for at least three or four minutes as well.

  9. When you are trying to lose weight (need to lose 70 lbs) is more intense walking bad?
