Locust pose (salabhasana) is an excellent yoga pose to safely and effectively strengthen the lower back muscles. While giving the back of the body an isometric strengthening exercise, the front of the body (shoulders, chest, quadriceps and hip flexors) get a gentle stretch. I demonstrate two variations of this pose and discuss the form as I go along.

    I did my back few weeks ago where I ended up with sciatica I did the tennis ball thingy n I believe it help abit with pain but im back at work doin wat I normally do but I notice wen I sleep and I have to move I feel a tension in my back still I feel my nerve or some sorta sensation so if I did those routines for awhile wud it eventually go away cause this feelin doesnt feel normal & tho I feel good but wen I have to stretch or turn in my sleep it hurts abit ?
    Is that normal plse let me know cheers 🙂
